How to Use LadySystem®

In the video presentation below, Paula will guide you through your LadySystem® therapy and provide you with user friendly tips so you feel relaxed and comfortable while carrying out your exercise program.

Note: When you are ready to start your LadySystem® therapy, relax and find a safe and comfortable position to insert the cone.  For example, support yourself standing next to a steady surface with your legs slightly apart or with a leg lifted up on a chair.  Be careful not to slip or fall.

Read the Consumer Information Leaflet thoroughly before using the LadySystem® vaginal cones. A pdf version is available on this website for your convenience to read or print out.  The step-by-step instructions on the selection and use of the vaginal cones will help you restrengthen your pelvic floor muscles effectively and safely.

As you progress with your LadySystem® exercise program your urinary stress incontinence symptoms will taper down until they resolve or improve significantly.

Your objective is to gradually strengthen your pelvic floor muscles by using a progressively heavier LadySystem® vaginal cone.  Hold the selected cone comfortably for 15 minutes while standing, walking, or doing your usual daily activities (the therapy will not work if sitting or lying down). Do your exercise regularly as recommended (15 minutes, twice a day, for approximately 3 months).

To help you track your daily exercise with the LadySystem® vaginal cones, print out the LadySystem® Exercise Diary and indicate in each daily box the cone number used. Take this chart with you to discuss your progress the next time you visit your doctor.

If after three months of therapy, you notice no improvement in your symptoms (e.g. if the frequency of urine leakage has not reduced), consult your physician.
